F1: Hungarian Grand Prix Preview!

Last Time Out: The German GP

The fate of the 2018 season took another twist as we returned to Germany. Hamilton's stunning drive after starting only 14th to claim victory in a dry-wet race coupled with Vettel's spectacular crash sees the Brit top the standings once more in this ever-changing race for title number 5 between the two protagonists.

It was the other silver arrow of Bottas who claimed second whilst Raikkonen made it 4 podiums in a row to finish third. Their was drama too further down the field as rain struck Hockenheim late on, with Magnussen and Leclerc being two of the top 10 drivers to suffer, much to the benefit of the two Force India drivers. It also allowed Ericsson and Hartley to surprsingly claim the final two points positions whilst Hulkenberg yet again finished best of the rest in 5th.

German Grand Prix Top 10: 1. Hamilton, 2. Bottas, 3. Raikkonen, 4. Verstappen, 5. Hulkenberg, 6. Grosjean, 7. Perez, 8. Ocon, 9. Ericsson, 10. Hartley

Hungary

Last year it was Vettel who was victorious in Hungary, leading a Ferrari 1-2. A similar result is required here after the disaster last time out.

Bottas headed Hamilton to claim the last spot on the podium after the Brit let Bottas past at the end in 2017. Red Bull have high hopes for this race weekend with similarities to Monaco and Ferrari will be undoubtedly be spurred on by the sad passing of their former President this week.

2018 podium prediction - 1. Vettel, 2. Ricciardo, 3. Verstappen
