Apps are significantly more expensive to build, maintain and support than websites. Consequently, we prefer to invest only in platforms where we see growing (or at least consistent) volumes of usage.
In all our markets (with one exception) Blackberry usage has dwindled to insignificance in the face of superior handsets and deals. Currently, iPhones and Samsung Android phones dominate. The exception is South Africa, where Blackberry remains popular due to packaged bandwidth deals and an entrenched brand positioning. But even there, usage has declined by 20% in the last year.
Our new and old mobile websites work well on Blackberry and provide all SuperBru functionality.
