Pool prizes: SuperEna lottery vouchers!
The winner of each and every qualifying pool will win a voucher for an entry into the Italian SuperEna lottery. With lottery payouts going to the order of tens of millions of Euros, this means winning your pool could (with a little bit of luck) net you several hundred million Rand! To qualify, a pool must have at least 5 members by the end of the tournament and must be set up by August 31st. Please see terms and conditions below.
Terms and conditions
- The points total taken into account for the grand prize will be Win Points + Margin Points + Grand Slam Points (Bonus Points will not count).
- Only one player will qualify for the grand prize, even in the event of a points tie (see tie-breaking mechanism below).
- The top player in every qualifying pool will win a voucher for a single entry into the SuperEna lottery courtesy of PlayHugeLottos.com.
- The points total taken into account for the pool prizes will be Win Points + Margin Points + Bonus Points + Grand Slam Points.
- Only one player in each qualifying pool will qualify for the pool prize, even in the event of a points tie (see tie-breaking mechanism below).
- To qualify, a pool must have at least five members by August 31st 2010, and at least five members must be present in the pool for the final on October 30th.
- Prizes are not transferable.
- Winning players will officially be notified by email and must respond within 72 hours to qualify for the prize.
- Any winning player that cannot be contacted by email as a result of having submitted an invalid email address to the game on registration will be disqualified from the prize and the prize will go to the next best player.
- Prizes do not have a cash alternative except in the case of prizes listed as cash prizes. SuperBru reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value at any time.
- Imagery shown of prizes on this and other pages in the SuperBru website is indicative only. Actual models of prizes may vary.
- Winners may be requested to take part in promotional activity and SuperBru reserves the right to use the names of winners and their photographs in any publicity.
- There are no geographic restrictions on the prizes.
- Employees of SuperBru or any such person's subsidiary or associated companies, agents or members of their families or households, are not eligible to win the prize. If such a person qualifies for the prize he or she will forfeit it to the next best player.
- The decision of SuperBru in respect of qualification for prizes is final.
- These rules are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Tie-breaking for prizes
We may have a situation where two or more players qualify for prizes based on points totals. Here's how we'll break ties in this eventuality.
The starting point will be the players with the highest Win Point + Margin Point total (no Bonus Point). In the event of ties:
- The player with the higher Win Point total will qualify
- If there are still ties, the player with the lower Total Distance from Margin* (TDM) will qualify
- If there are still ties, the winner will be chosen randomly by computer from the qualifying players
