How it works
In the Confederations Cup, a team scores 2 log points for a win, and 1 for a draw.
The teams play in 2 groups of 4 teams (groups A and B)In the group stage, each team plays 1 game against each of the other 3 teams in its group.
The top 2 teams from each group go through to the semi-finals (A1 v B2, A2 v B1). The semi-final winners compete in the final, with the losers battling it out for third place in a consolation game.
