Branded leaderboards
A branded leaderboard gives you the opportunity to present your brand through the wider environment of a SuperBru tournament.
Ever thought SuperBru would make a great promotional tool for your business?
In 2009, we introduced a product that we'd successfully been trialling with selected partners for some time.
A branded leaderboard is a leaderboard for your business that runs within a SuperBru tournament. It's not a pool, and it's not a fully white labelled game: it occupies a space between the two.
This product is a great way to engage with people - a few examples:
- Clients: run a game for your top clients, keeping you front of mind with them for the duration of the tournament
- Staff: a leaderboard can be a terrific way for your team to interact, stay competitive and keep in contact
- Media: engage with your readers/listeners/viewers in a new, interactive way
A branded leaderboard might be a small, focused competition for a hundred key people, or you might open up your leaderboard to the public as a brand exposure device which might pick up thousands of players.
How a leaderboard works
- Players take part in the normal game as usual, but also compete on your leaderboard
- The entry point for new players is a special page branded totally as yours (and served from a friendly URL, e.g. superbru.com/yourbrand)
- A sub-section within the site dedicated to your game shows your leaderboard, prize information, and any other content – your brand within a wrapper of the SuperBru game
- Players still only make one set of picks each week. These apply in their pools, the global leaderboard and in your leaderboard
- You decide on prizes - weekly, overall, or whatever you wish
- Entry can be strictly controlled if you wish (with a password), and the leaderboard can be visible to the public or private and only visible to its players
- Bonus Points don't apply: it's not a pool
